Christian Collia Tenor
Biography
Christian Collia, born in Vibo Valentia in 1991, started to sing in the “Gruppo Folk Città di Vibo Valentia”, and, as soloist of this ensemble, sang in many concerts, like the Concerto di Natale in Lille (France). Meanwhile started to study in the Conservatory in Vibo Valentia.
In 2009 he studied at Busseto (PR), in the Accademia Verdiana Internazionale of M° Carlo Bergonzi. He debuts in the “Giuseppe Verdi” theater at Busseto on the 28 Marzo 2009 in the final concert of the Accademia Verdiana Carlo Bergonzi.
In 2010 he sang in the Prima Rassegna di Musica Classica “Giovani Musicisti in Concerto” in Mileto (VV). In 2011 he won the III° Premio at Concorso Musicale Europeo Città di Filadelfia “Paolo Serrao”, and studied with Mirella Freni in a Masterclass.
In 2012 he debuted with “Don Giovanni” the role of Don Ottavio in many theaters in Lazio and in Sicily, and the role of Nemorino; at Teatro Goldoni in Rome, debuted “Bastiano e Bastiana” in the role of Bastiano conducted by Sergio La Stella.
In 2013 he debuted the role of Peppe in “Pagliacci” in Roma and Tamino in Conegliano Veneto. He sang with the Banda del Corpo della Guardia di Finanza conducted by M° Ten. Col. L. Laserra Ingrosso; he sang some new Bellini’s arias edited by P. Gossett and F. Della Seta.
In 2013 he studied with Rockwell Blake in a Masterclass; he studies with M° Claudio Di Segni at Conservatorio di musica “Santa Cecilia” in Rome, and with M° David Ciavarella.
He won the Special Prize “Regione Lazio” at International Competition of Sacred Music in Rome (2013).

In 2014 he studied at Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro and at Centre de Perfeccionement Placido Domingo in Valencia, and sang the Conte d’Almaviva in Barbiere di Siviglia at Teatro Valle in Rome and at Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari.
